We support the relationships and sexuality education (RSE) programme in Primary schools, being aware of school policy and ethos. Our facilitators take a sensitive and reassuring approach, using age-appropriate language, which creates an atmosphere where children feel comfortable listening to this most valuable and important part of life. In particular, we help them understand:

•  The physical changes that occur in boys and girls with the onset of puberty

• The reproductive system of both male and female adults

• Sexual intercourse, conception and birth within the context of a committed, loving relationship

• The need for acceptance, respect and love in relationships and the responsibilities involved in being a parent

We are independent and offer this service to any school regardless of ethos.

 

This 2.5 hour workshop is delivered over one school day and complements the SPHE curriculum.
